On March 11, 2016, the 4th workshop on "Current Status and Issues of International Nutrition" (Natural Disasters and Nutritional Improvement) was held, where approximately 22 participants learned through practical examples and exercises in order to develop a basic understanding of what needs to be done to address nutritional issues in natural disasters.

Participants: Approximately 20 people (estimated) NGOs, public organizations, universities, development consultants

Participation Fee: 1,000 yen

Objective of the training: To acquire basic understanding of what needs to be done to deal with nutritional issues in natural disasters. Specifically, participants will learn the following:

  2. Overview of post-disaster nutrition surveys
